Doctor’s Referral

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the doctors, dentists and other patients that have referred patients to our office for treatment with sedation over the past 20 plus years. It is certainly one of the more gratifying aspects of my practice.

How can I help you treat your patients?

First, please recognize that anxious patients rarely admit they’re anxious. Some of the signs and symptoms of anxiety for patients include being late for appointments, avoiding dental work except when pain persists, being mildly aggressive, or the obvious signs of sweat on the lip or brow, fidgeting, short answers, lack of eye contact etc.

Being able to offer patients an alternative to dentistry awake is often a large step in the direction of having a long time and loyal patient. I am happy to treat patients on a one or two appointment basis or the patient can be transferred to our office completely. It is your choice and I will follow your direction!

The patient is appreciative both of your caring in recognizing their anxiety and our caring and expertise in our ability to treat the patient in a comfortable manner. It’s typically results in a win-win for you and your patient. Most times the patients are able to tolerate more dentistry with less sedation because they had a positive experience.

If possible, a written description of what you would like my office to accomplish for your patient and radiographs are very helpful. I will return all radiographs with a written report of treatment provided.
